A dead body in the koi pond of the Twigsledge Flower Show is nothing unusual for amateur sleuth Ida Johnston who is vacationing in the English village where the show is being held. She’s sure she can solve the crime before afternoon tea, especially since she already has her first suspect - the strange cat-attracting woman who is vacationing in the cottage next to her.

Cozy mystery set in England with two little old ladies busy bodying themselves into an investigation, what more could you ask for?
This brings together characters from two of Leighann Dobbs' series but the story is completely stand alone. It's really cute and its fun to see these ladies developing a friendship.
I really enjoyed the police detectives in this story, how the nudge the ladies into investigating (not that they needed much encouragement). They were a great way to keep the plot moving.
I haven't read this one, but I love these type of fun, cozy mysteries. Thanks for the review.
