A birthday party for their neighbor and friend is the perfect excuse for Marco and Anna to get some adult interaction. However they make the brilliant decision to leave thier six month old home alone and just bringing the baby monitor with them. When they return home... their daughter is gone and the nightmare is just beginning.

Most of the characters in this story are idiots. Especially Marco, how he came to the decisions he did is beyond me. I did like Anna and I feel like she had the most development. We also get to dig into her past a little bit.
There are a lot of unexpected twists and turns, as well as things that I thought would come in to play more than they did. I felt so much for Anna. As a mom I can't imagine what I'd do if my daughter was missing.
All in all it was okay. It was a fast paced read, but some of the characters were just a little too unbelievably stupid for my taste.
