This spring has been a busy reading season for me. I managed to get through over 40 books. I'm going to sum up what some of my favorite and least favorite books I read this season, how I did on the goals I set for myself in February and goals I'm setting for myself for this summer.
Favorite Books I read this Spring:

Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones:
This book is funny and silly and just a delight to read with a touch of romance thrown in just for fun.

The Night of Many Endings by Melissa Payne
Four strangers ride out a storm together in a library and end up learning a lot about what makes

The Witch's Heart by Genevieve Gornichec
Norse Mythology gets the Wicked treatment bringing a little known character to light and showing us the Gods from a new perspective.
Honorable Mention:
Can't Stop Cursing You Vol 3 by Kensuke Koba
I absolutely loved the curse game in this volume and it ends on such a cliff hanger. Now I have to wait an entire year to read the conclusion to the series, well that or learn to read kanji.
Least Favorite Books:
Animal Crossing: New Horizons by Rumba Kokonasu
I think this is just a case of it was written for a different audience. I dislike the characters original to the manga and I don't think they treat the characters from the games very well.
My Evil Mother by Margret Atwood
This is Margret Atwoods newest novella and it really just didn't jive with me. It follows our main character throughout her life and how she perceives her mom. From a powerful witch, to maybe crazy, to having had some good scare tactics. I didn't really like the main character or how she interacted with her mom. Which happened to be the main part of the book...
Series I'm currently reading!
Wallflowers Series by V.C. Andrews: This is a five book mini series focusing on four girls who are self dubbed orphans with parents and have landed together in therapy. Each girl must recount what lead her to being in therapy. I am on book 2/5 and I'm enjoying it so far. The books do seem to be getting darker and darker as the series moves forward.
Goals from Winter:
Make Progress on the Otherworld Series: Still at 8/21 , I actually haven't read anymore of these this spring but I still have a little over half a year to go so I still think this is achievable.
Finish Demon Prince of Momochi House: Done! I really enjoyed finally finishing this series. The ending was unexpected but quite good.
Goals for Summer:
Read Spy X Family: It looks like a really cute and fun read that is currently at 9 volumes so it should be fairly easy to get caught up.
Read a classic a month: I haven't actually read a ton of the classics so I want to make a point to read at least one a month this summer what they are going to be is TBD, and they may end up being the manga classics edition, who knows really.
All in all it was a good spring for reading. Now time for summer warmth and lots of books!
