What is happiness? That is the question that Nanoka's elementary class has been given. She searches to find the answer through some unconventional friendships and learns a lot in the process.

I read the complete manga version it was originally released as light novel. I absolutely adored this story. This is the second story that I've read by Yoru Sumino and it definitely exceeded my expectations.

Her friends are in all stages of life, a high school student who has resorted to self harm, a young adult who allows Nanoka to call her Skank-san, and a kind old lady who bakes delicious treats. Outside of these three she's pretty lonely with parents that work all the time and doesn't quite fit in with the students in her class.

Nanoka is such a headstrong girl with a clear vision of what she thinks is right and wrong. Even if that occasionally doesn't workout the best for her.

This is something I highly recommend for everyone to read. Because honestly when you think about it what is happiness to you?
